Carmelo Amenta (b.1995) is an internationally shown Lens Based Artist from Toledo, Ohio and currently working in Columbus, Ohio. He has received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital and Photographic art with a minor in Art History from the University of Toledo and his MFA in Photography and Integrated Media at Ohio University. His work confronts queer identity and intimacy using archive, found image, portraiture, and still-life.
